compulsory   equipment

On entering the start area of every discipline(3, 6 and 12 hour events) a signature control will be done and the organisation may do a partial or complete check of all compulsory equipment, with at least 3 elements of material been randomly checked. Once the team has passed the material control, you must remain in this area until the start of your event, whereby you can not abandon the race or receive outside help unless in special circumstances or with the authorization of the organisers. During the running of the event surprise checks may be made and if so, to all the teams and in the same place.

Compulsory Equipment Check Method
Every team that visits a refreshment area will be invited to do a compulsory equipment check(minimum 3 elements of the compulsory material will be checked). For this purpose we will create a system of control whereby each team doing the compulsory equipment check at these refreshment points will be given an identification band showing they have performed the check. On finishing, those who don’t have a band will have to do a compulsory equipment check.
