The IV ROGAINING Gran Canaria, will be held on the 13th of December 2014 and for the first time we will have three disciplines: 12, 6 and 3 hours.
We present the most southern Rogaine event in Europe with many new aspects in this edition, among them been the Spanish Championships in an updated map for the occasion.
Year after year we try to become one of the best Rogaining events in Europe. For this our strengths are; hard work, athletes attention, friendliness, and an unbeatable event terrain accompanied by great climate. These three disciplines allows for all to participate. Don’t over do it and you will finish with great memories.

program   details

Briefing
Talk explaining where we give final details of the event or last minute changes to the race, the map, advice etc…

Map Collecting
Every athlete will collect their map. Together with their team they will 30minutes evaluate the terrain and plan their route: order of control points and itinerary between them.  It is compulsory to have a pen or similar to mark your route and not to forget it. However, it is not required to decide the route in advance, you can change it at any time at the discretion of the team, but it is highly recommended.

Finish Line Arrival
Most of the teams usually arrive within 15 minutes of the time limit. Crowding may occur for those arriving around the same time. It has been set up so we have enough finish bases to avoid possible crowding on finishing.

Finish Line Closure
Those who do not arrive within the time limit will be disqualified. Even so, it is compulsory for all athletes to pass the finish line (so we don’t have to worry about searching for you).

Clasifications
Every team will have their overall time and intermediate point times, a few minutes after closure of the finish time. After a quick verification, the classifications will be published. There will be 30 minutes after final classifications to present any possible claims before a technical jury whom will be named beforehand. In the case of changes, it will be published in the final classification.
